Online Trauma Therapy UK
A safe, supportive space to gently process difficult experiences
Experiences from the past can stay with us in ways that aren’t always easy to understand.
You might notice certain feelings, reactions, or patterns that don’t seem to make sense — or feel stronger than you expect. At times, it can feel as though your body or emotions are responding before you’ve had a chance to think.
I offer online trauma therapy across the UK, providing a calm and supportive space to begin making sense of your experiences, at a pace that feels right for you.
How Trauma Can Show Up
Trauma can affect people in different ways. You might notice:
Feeling on edge, alert, or easily overwhelmed
Difficulty relaxing or feeling safe
Strong emotional reactions that feel hard to manage
Feeling numb, disconnected, or “shut down”
Intrusive thoughts, memories, or dreams
Avoiding certain situations, people, or feelings
Sometimes these responses are linked to a specific event. Other times, they may be connected to ongoing or earlier experiences that were difficult to process at the time.
However it shows up for you, your response is understandable.
Online Trauma Therapy
Working online can offer a gentle and accessible way to begin therapy, especially if face-to-face work feels too much or not possible right now.
Sessions take place via Zoom, allowing you to be in a space where you feel more comfortable and in control.
Many people find that online trauma therapy:
Feels less intense than being in a new physical environment
Allows them to stay connected to a sense of safety
Fits more easily around their life
Gives them more choice and flexibility
What to Expect
Starting trauma therapy can feel like a big step.
Our first session is simply a space to talk about what’s been going on for you and to get a sense of whether working together feels comfortable.
You don’t need to share everything straight away.
We begin wherever you are.
How I Work with Trauma
My approach is steady, collaborative, and led by you.
Trauma therapy is not about going over everything all at once. Instead, we begin by creating a sense of safety and stability, so that anything we explore feels manageable.
Together, we might:
Gently explore your experiences at your pace
Notice how trauma is held in the body and emotions
Build awareness of patterns and responses
Develop ways to feel more grounded and supported
There is no pressure to revisit anything before you feel ready.
We work with what feels safe enough, step by step.
Trauma, Anxiety and ADHD
Trauma can sometimes be closely connected with anxiety, overwhelm, or difficulties with focus and regulation.
You might find that:
Anxiety feels constant or hard to explain
You feel easily overstimulated or overwhelmed
You struggle to switch off or relax
We can explore how these experiences connect, helping you build a clearer understanding of what’s happening for you.
